Adside vs Pipeboard

Pipeboard connects your ad accounts to Claude and ChatGPT and stops there. Adside gives your AI the same access, plus the platform around it.

Choose Adside if

Teams that want MCP access and a product: UI, briefs, routines, reporting and client sharing per brand.

Choose Pipeboard if

Technical marketers who live in Claude or ChatGPT and want the broadest multi-platform ad connector, nothing more.

The honest version

Pipeboard is the best pure ads-MCP vendor (MCP is the connector standard that lets an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT operate your ad accounts). One hosted connector covers eight ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Pinterest, Snap, Reddit) plus GA4 and Search Console, with real write access, campaigns created paused by default, per-account token scoping for agencies, and source-available code with 1.3k GitHub stars. Setup takes minutes from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.

The connector is also the whole product. There is no campaign UI, no client dashboards, no scheduled routines, no briefs and no creative production; the AI chat client is the entire interface, and recurring workflows mean wiring up n8n yourself. Meta releasing its own free ads MCP in 2026 also commoditizes the core Meta use case. Adside ships an MCP too, and the difference is everything around it: a product your team and clients can actually look at.

Pricing, side by side

One plan, priced per brand: $290 per month, or $190 with annual billing, and $100 of creative credits included every month (top-ups are sold at cost, with no margin). Unlimited users, no per-seat fees. Fair is fair: Adside is young and has no G2 review base yet either, so judge us on a trial rather than review counts.

Where Pipeboard is strong
The broadest multi-platform ads MCP available: eight ad platforms plus analytics sources behind one auth model.
Real write access with sane guardrails: campaigns default to paused, tokens scope per account and per tool.
Transparent and fast-moving: source-available code, a published methodology for its traction stats, 130+ releases.
Where it stops (and Adside fits)
No product surface: no campaign UI, no visual editor, no client dashboards or reports. The chat client is the whole interface.
No creative production, briefs or competitor research, and no automation layer; routines mean building n8n flows yourself.
Per-account pricing stacks up for agencies, and the free tier meters AI commands weekly.
Meta now ships its own free ads MCP, which undercuts the core Meta connector use case.

Get Started

Adside vs Pipeboard: questions

Partly. The free tier covers 2 ad accounts and 30 AI commands per week, with duplication, carousel ads and bulk operations locked out. Paid plans run $29.90 to $199 per month, plus $10 per month for each extra ad account.

A connector using the Model Context Protocol that gives an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT tools to read and change your ad accounts, so you can ask things like "pause everything with CPA over $80" in chat. Both Pipeboard and Adside provide one; the difference is whether anything exists beyond the connector.

Yes. Through your AI assistant it can create campaigns, ad sets, ads and creatives and set budgets and targeting. New campaigns start paused by default, but there is no draft or approval workflow and no UI to review builds visually; review happens in chat or back in Ads Manager.

There is little reason to: Adside’s MCP already gives Claude or ChatGPT the same read and write access to your ad accounts, so running both means paying twice for the connector. The case for Pipeboard alongside Adside is platform breadth: if you need Snap, Reddit or Pinterest wired into your AI assistant today, Pipeboard covers platforms Adside does not.

It is the most agency-aware pure MCP: pooled account slots, unlimited seats on the $199 tier and per-client token scoping. But agencies still get no client dashboards, no reporting deliverables, no briefs and no creative production. It is infrastructure, not an agency platform; Adside pairs the same MCP access with the platform.
